End of Summer at the Hatch/Hayman household

Wow, I am so proud of everybody and their updated posts. I don't have much to report, so my posts have been lacking. Everybody in the family is doing great. Carson is playing football for Clearfield Thunder. He is probably the smallest member of the team, but he makes up for that with heart. He's a tough little player. Carson is on the far left, with his back to the camera. (The one with his football pants that go to his ankles.) Here is Carson in the middle of the picture. He is in green and is #43. He is the one with the baggy britches.

Kendyl is walking all over the place and is into everything. She has no fear and is not afraid of getting dirty. She has weaned herself off the bottle and only wants her sippy cup. We don't have up a gate at the stairs, so we had to teach her how to turn around and go down the stairs on her knees. She is so smart! It only took a couple of times of showing her and she figured it out.

Katelin and Kylee's first day of school picture was taken very quickly as I was running out the door for work. Gregg snapped the picture as they were running out the door as well. Katelin started 8th grade and Kylee started 5th grade.

Kendyl's 1st birthday is on October 5th. Everyone is invited to our house for a barbecue. It is on a Sunday, so we can have our monthly dinner gathering at our house. I am planning on getting some invitations together. If that doesn't happen, consider this your invite. Good times to be had by ALL!
I think I could safely say we all had an excellent summer. I can't wait to see what Autumn brings. I love ya all!

Jacob's Baptism

It was great that Jake turned eight ... He was baptized and confirmed a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. AND it gave us another excuse for more family, food and fun!

Peach Days for the Merrill's

Peach Days 2008 lasted a week for the Merrill family. (It consisted of doing a lot of hair, see below.)

TUESDAY, the day we arrived home from Jackson Hole, Taylor had her Jr. Peach Queen Pageant rehearsal.

WEDNESDAY, the big event, the Jr. Peach Queen Pageant.

Taylor being escorted out on stage and introduced.

The group talent portion. Taylor is right in the middle (see blue arrow).

Right after Taylor's name was drawn and she was crowned the 1st Attendant.

SATURDAY, the big parade! Yea for Peach Days!

Jackson Hole Trip II

I was told that I needed to update the blog for the 40th Anniversary Celebration to Jackson Hole/Teton Village. I have about 100 pictures that I could post (and I did not get Tami's or Derrek's photos!) I have tried to narrow it down. It was very hard! It was a great trip and it was so fun to be with everyone!!

Amanda and Jordan at Rick's Springs in Logan Canyon - (allow me to get a song stuck in your head ... You know I wish that I had Jessie's girl. Where can I find her, a woman like that? ...And she's watching him with those eyes. And she's lovin' him with that body, I just know it! And he's holding her in his arms late, late at night. la la la)

Okay, for all you people who did not pull over to take the picture of the 40+ elk, or for those of you that arrived too late to see the 40+ elk ... I've got you covered.

Getting ready for the family photos ... which will be provided by Derrek :-)

Dallon - save your ski's for your future fence. This is awesome!

No trip to Jackson Hole is complete without a photo in front of the antlers.
Are the men behind Madison and Taylor dead or alive? Ripley's Beleive or Not!

Gregg ... you might want to consider shaving.

The background shows the area where the condo we stay in is located. The arrows are pointing to the parachuters floating down.
